Welcome to Luke's Lists!

Luke's highly sought after lists will be published as he feels inspired. This inspiration can be sporadic and result in multi-list weeks or one list every couple of weeks. The lists are not saved anywhere. Once a list is gone, it is GONE! So check out the lists while you can!

Top 5 Root Beer Brands

#5. Mug Root Beer:

Mug is a staple of root beer. It has a creamy taste and goes great in a root beer float.

#4. Barq's Root Beer:

Barq's is another tasty classic. Its got a nice sweet flavor with just enough bite. Plus it has caffeine which is a bonus for those that are needing a little bit of a caffeine kick.

#3. IBC Root Beer:

Coming in at a possibly controversial #3 is IBC. Many people rank this as #1 in lists I've seen but it just isn't quite there for me. It is a deliciously smooth and creamy drink made with cane sugar. It compliments the sweetness of the sugar with a nice spicy bite.

#2. A&W Root Beer:

A wonderfully classic drink. Creamy, smooth, and delicious. Even better if you can find an A&W restaurant to pair it with a hot dog and have it served in a frosted mug.

#1. Fitz's Root Beer:

As a St. Louis native, I may be a bit biased towards Fitz's (yes I know IBC originated in STL also). This root beer just tastes right. Its sweet and heavy on the cream. Goes down smooth. Fitz's has many restaurants in the area where you can watch the bottling process and enjoy some delicious root beer and food. Highly recommend if you've never experienced it.
